What is a DiveAlert?

Designed for Effective, Easy Use

Dive•Alert is a specially designed, small, lightweight air horn that uses quick - connect/disconnect hose fittings to become an integrated part of your power inflator.

Installation is easy and takes only a moment.

Dive•Alert does not require any modification of your other equipment, and it does not interfere in any way with the normal operation of your other equipment.

When you need to get someone's attention on the water's surface, you simply press a button and Dive•Alert uses a small amount of air from your SCUBA tank to make a piercingly loud sound.

Dive•Alert doesn't interfere with your diving.

How it Works

Dive•Alert is a specially designed, small, lightweight air horn that uses quick - connect/disconnect hose fittings to become an integrated part of your power inflator. Installation is easy and takes only a moment.

Dive•Alert does not require any modification of your other equipment, and it does not interfere in any way with the normal operation of your other equipment.

When you need to get someone's attention on the water's surface, you simply press a button and Dive•Alert uses a small amount of air from your SCUBA tank to make a piercingly loud sound. Dive•Alert was engineered to be operated as easily with a gloved hand as a bare hand, and as easily with the left hand as the right.

Dive•Alert is easy to use and maintain.

Just make sure that before every dive you check that Dive•Alert is installed correctly and functioning properly. Also be careful not to point Dive•Alert toward yourself or toward anyone who is in close proximity to you when you unleash Dive•Alert's piercing sound, or loss of hearing could result.

After each use, Dive•Alert should be pressurized and rinsed with fresh water with the rest of your gear.

Specifications
The Dive•Alert uses chrome-plated brass couplings to attach to your power inflator. The activator button engages a chrome-plated brass actuator valve stem causing a small amount of air to rush by a stainless steel diaphragm, emitting a piercingly loud sound from the injection-moulded thermoplastic body.

Many dive operations such as
the Aggressor Fleet insist
their guests use Dive•Alert.

Developed to Save Lives

What would you do in a diving emergency if you needed to get the attention of the pick-up boat or someone else on the water's surface?

Traditionally, SCUBA divers have relied on whistles as their only available signalling device in such an emergency. But a whistle relies on the diver being able to take their regulator out of their mouth, place the whistle in their mouth and have the ability to blow loud enough on it to be heard.

Even when employed, they weren't heard very far.

In contrast, Dive•Alert enables divers at the mere touch of a button to generate a blast of sound that can be heard up to a mile away!
